"I was on anti-depression medications for almost 14 yrs. My depression/anxiety worsened after experiencing new life events (personal and family). I saw my psychiatrist who wanted to change my medications and increase the dose of one of the other medications. "I am still amazed at the results I continue to receive from acupuncture! Despite the numerous recommendations to try Lotus Hands Acupuncture from friends, the thought of paying someone to stick me with tiny needles was less than appealing. After going to numerous doctors and spending an insurmountable amount of money to solve my health challenges, I finally decided to give them a try. I had a ton of anxiety about my appointment, and was having difficulty walking as I was recovering from a cluster of seizures. Most of the anxiety subsided from the moment I walked in the office as there was nothing but peace and calm that greeted me. A gentlemen that introduced himself as Anthony took my husband and I to an immaculately clean room and made sure I was comfortable while filling out the paperwork. Once done, Anthony spent time combing through every detail and stopping to ask questions when he needed to. He also calmly and patiently answered all our questions (and we has many). "This is where herbal medicine works and there is no equivalent care offered in western medicine. My fibroid cyst is big enough to cause extremely heavy bleeding during periods, but not enough to justify surgery procedures. PREGNANCY
" My experience at Lotus Hand Acupuncture is amazing. Found this place because I was having severe fibroid pain in my 16 weeks pregnancy. My OB told me that the fibroid was growing because of the pregnancy and the pain might get worse and worse. She told me it’s safe to take extra strength Tylenol to manage the pain. But the pain got so bad that I could hardly walk with my back straight. My husband did some research and suggested that we might try the acupuncture treatment.
Phoned in on a Saturday morning and Anthony scheduled an appointment on that afternoon. The first session was with Katherine. She was caring, kind and very informative. At the end of the session, I felt so much relieved. My husband drove me home and that evening I was able to help around in the kitchen, playing with my dogs. Everything went back to normal. At week 20, my OB did an ultrasound and found that one of my fibroids has shrunk to half of its original size. That’s really amazing. "I came here to use acupuncture to help quit smoking. I had three other programs i was doing, such as 1. not smoking in the first 2 hours of waking or last 2 before sleeping and 2. self hypnosis videos on you tube that worked well.
