After completing his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the AOMA Graduate School of Medicine in record time, Anthony is very grateful to have an opportunity to practice here in Houston.
Anthony was the only student at AOMA to have completed the full program in three years. He was awarded the AOMA Scholarship for overall excellence in Chinese medical studies and the Golden Flower Chinese Herbs Scholarship for excellence in acupuncture studies, herbal studies, biomedical sciences and clinical internship. He was the only student to win two scholarships in the same year. He was also served in the AOMA student Association as Secretary, Treasurer, and Acting President.
In his first ever clinical rotation, his supervisor commented that he had the skills and confidence of a senior intern. His herbal clinic supervisor said Anthony “is one of the top herbalist that [he] had seen in [his 15] years tenure at the school.” He was so highly requested by patients that he had permission to treat 4 patients by himself in a single clinic time slot (regular time slot requires 2 interns treating 2 patients).
Although Anthony loves Traditional Chinese Medicine, he is also trained in many advanced techniques. Some of which are:
- Master Tung point therapeutic
